An Edwardian house built in 1917 in the center of San Francisco – just a 10-15 minute walk to the Castro or the Haight , and close to all public transportation for SF and the Bay Area.. The house is on a quiet street and has a sunporch with a panoramic super view of half of SF.. We have free WiFi for your laptop or iPad.. Also a 40" high def TV, and unlimited local and long distance (within the US) phone service..

I’m sure you know about the Castro and the Haight.. There is a corner store around the corner for fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, and other necessities.. Larger supermarkets are a short walk or a Muni ride away.. We are 20 min from the Airport and also to most other parts of the City, including downtown, the Pacific Ocean, the Bay, Civic Center (the Opera, the Symphony, City Hall).. We’re in a relatively sunny part of the city, but the entire city enjoys the summer fog, esp in the mornings and evenings.. The weather is generally mild all year long, with a rainy season during the winter months, and can get colder at night..

Where shall we start? Mike and Ralph are great guys that we met a couple of times. They are both interesting people and have created a fantastic house. The house is in a Great location and has a spectacular view. For San Francisco, it is literally a mansion with two floors and a garage. We had a great time, and would congratulate anyone who is lucky enough to do a house swap with this couple.

Mike and Ralph were perfect hosts (and have since become good friends).
Their house is fabulous with incredible views of downtown. This is your classic San Francisco domicile. If you want the real San Francisco experience, this place is it and, located conveniently above the Castro and major public transport lines.

What a nice house and kind couple!! We notified them in a very short notice and arrived very late (12AM) but Mike and Ralph stayed awake to greet us at the door...The house is very comfortable and convenient (5-8 minute walk from Castro and trains) with bay view. We are very happy and lucky to have found and stayed in their house. Hopefully, in the near future we would return such hospitality to them at our home in New York City. Cheers.

What a great property! Starting with the much larger than expected space (more like a 4 bedroom++), to the views, to the location, to the objets d' art; this is a fantastic place.

Ralph left fresh flowers for us and we had a very comfortable stay. We stayed in touch just enough to make sure everything went smoothly.

They also left my place in great shape and easy to turn over for our next guests.
