I live in a bright and sunny one bedroom apartment with lots of plants and art. I live on the top floor (5th) with an elevator and a laundry in the building. There are great views of the midtown skyline from my windows.

The location in Manhattan couldn’t be more central. It’s a safe, secure area and it’s easy to walk to the Broadway theaters, Central Park, Upper Westside, and Chelsea. Living in the center it’s easy to find loads of clubs, cafes, bars (gay and straight) coffee shops, food stores, health clubs, museums and galleries and a great nightlife – and all at my doorstep! There are numerous transportation options including buses and various nearby subways (C,E,A,N,R,W,B,D and Q trains!), providing easy access around this fantastic city. I should add that my area, commonly called Hell’s Kitchen, is the new gay mecca in NYC! It’s trendy but still down-to-earth in its own way.

Mayor Bloomberg built a gorgeous promenade that goes from my street all the way up to upper Manhattan by the Hudson River. It’s great for jogging and bicycling. He also made bikes available to rent right off the street, and there are other bike rental places in my area.
