Our home is a beautiful two-storey place in a quiet and peaceful inner-city suburb of Melbourne. We are surrounded by lots of wonderful cafés, small shops of all kinds, and parks.

The house is modern, light-filled, clean and comfortable. Gas ducted heating right through the house. Air-conditioner downstairs. Double-glazing keeps the house warmer in winter and cooler in summer.

Upstairs: two double bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms. The main bedroom also has an air-conditioner. There’s an outdoor area with outdoor furniture and a gas BBQ – ideal for entertaining. The outside area has a louvred-roof which closes automatically if it rains.

Downstairs: bedroom with two single beds, bathroom/laundry/toilet, large lounge room with television/DVD player, dining room, new kitchen and living room. An air-conditioner and outside blinds keep the house cool in summer.

We are surrounded by excellent public transport which will take you anywhere in Melbourne. You won’t need a car unless you want to travel outside Melbourne. (Use of the car can be negotiated.)

Melbourne is the cultural and sporting capital of Australia. We have several major sporting complexes — the MCG for cricket and Australian Rules Football (, AAMI Park for Rugby and Soccer (, Etihad Stadium ( for sports as well as concerts. We also have the National Tennis Centre with a reputation for being the world’s best purpose-built, elite tennis training facility (

But Melbourne is also, without a doubt, the cultural capital of Australia. Our State Theatre is superb for dance to broadway musicals to grand opera. The Sydney Opera House is well known for its amazing architecture, but the Melbourne concert hall is superior in every way (especially for sound). We also have Hamer Hall, a premier concert venue, which hosts a range of performances across all music styles. It’s also home to the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and a preferred venue for the famous Australia Chamber Orchestra.

In Melbourne we also have the Royal Botanic Gardens, the National Gallery of Victoria, the State Library, the famous Block Arcade (which allows you to travel back in time), the Shine of Remembrance, the Melbourne Museum, ….. and many more attractions. You will find some useful links at:
