Mick was a very helpful host and made sure we had all we needed and wanted.. The house was large enough to accommodate all four of us and the neighborhood was great - quiet and walking distance to Hillcrest.. The deck was especially nice with a wonderful valley view..

This is a circa 1920s Spanish revival property near the end of a cul-de sac in a residential area near the main streets in Hillcrest district. Our group of four spent 5 nights there visiting Balboa Park two days, the Wild Animal Safari in Escondido one day, and taking a day trip to Tijuana. The main bedroom overlooks a canyon out back. There is a garage conversion to an additional bedroom which is private and accessible across the entrance to the home. Both beds were comfortable. Street parking. Key in lock box. Plenty of hot water. Easy swap.
