Our home away from home is a well-appointed studio that’s bright and roomy and on the top floor of an art-deco building. Comfortable furniture, a flat screen TV, DVD player and Bose Sound Dock cover your entertainment at home and all the amenities complete the package. A queen size bed and a sleeper couch provide more than enough room for 2 and could stretch to 4, if you’re really cozy. Very flexible availability. We won’t smoke in your home and we don’t allow smoking in ours.

Enjoy a neighborhood that’s not packed with tourists and offers beautiful park space, great restaurants, and a dose of life as experienced by real New Yorkers. Then, hop on the subway and head down to the Village, Chelsea, Central Park, Times Square, SoHo, Chinatown, or anywhere else in New York City. Enjoy all the things that one the world’s great cities has to offer.

My partner, Patrick, and I had the best stay at this lovely apt for one week, everything was as purported, clean & space friendly with transp available to just everywhere one would want to go & see ! Lovely part of town, very green & hilly & what we wanted most - Quiet (by NYC standards) will do again with great enthusiasm !

Great experience in every way! Even though we've lived in NYC, we were unfamiliar with the Inwood neighborhood. The West part of Inwood is a very nice area of pre-War buildings on tree lined trees. Quiets, several parks nearby. Also convenient to everything in Manhattan, served by 2 different subway lines. Big surprise for us was the express bus to the Bronx to visit the NY Botanical Garden and Little Italy/Arthur Ave (no extra charge with weekly MetroCard). We enjoyed both the neighborhood, its convenience, and quiet location away from the tourist zone of Times Square.

Doug & Bob were kind enough to meet us at their place and give us a great "walking tour" and orientation to their neighborhood. We went out to brunch together and they are very nice guys. Great recommendations for local restaurants and cafes.

The apartment itself is very bright and feel spacious. It has everything necessary for a pleasant stay. It was very clean, as was our place when we returned. We'd be very happy to do another exchange whenever they want to next visit SF. Thanks guys!
