Lovely townhouse in ‘Humleby’ in the historic ‘Carlsberg-area’ of Vesterbro, Copenhagen. 152 square-meters / 1640 square-feet. 3 bedrooms. 2 bathrooms. Big kitchen and livingroom. Private courtyard. TV, music and fast speed internet.

Children are welcome. No pets – no smoking house. Cleaning service available.

Placed in Vesterbro, the very hip part of central Copenhagen in walking distance of historic Copenhagen. Next to Copenhagen Zoo, Carlsberg, recreational parks (‘Søndermarken’ and ‘Frederiksberg Have’) perfect for jogging or relaxation and close to cafes, restaurants and shops. Bikepaths start just outside our door.
Vesterbro was, by the way, just appointed the 4th most hipster area in the world by Thrillist. We were not surprised!
Superb public transportation. No need for a car within greater Copenhagen.

We also have a small wooden summer cottage. It is 50 m2 (560 sq.feet) and is situated on the northern shore of Sealand (Picture 9 – 14). The house is placed on a hill with a 180 degrees ocean view and a perfect sunset and some of the most beautiful nature that you will find in Denmark! The place is perfect for ocean swimming, fishing, hiking, kayaking, mountain biking and relaxing in nature. It has 2 bedrooms and is very cosy! It is a little more than 1 hours drive in car from Copenhagen, and has all modern amenities: Dishwasher, Washingmashine, Microwave and Internet.

Peter and Christian are amazing people...The house is beautiful and great located, with a lot of stairs....lol..It's a winner...We really enjoyed our stay in Copenhagen! Thank you guys! It is more than we expected! We look forward to returning our hospitality in New York City! Cheers!

We had a super visit in 2013. The home is large, spacious and well-equipped for a very comfortable stay. The location gave us a great base for our exploration of Copenhagen as well as other parts of Denmark..

They are gracious hosts. They met us at the airport and made sure that we were well-settled and comfortable in their home before leaving us on our own to explore,

They came and stayed at our place in 2014 and both sides of the house-swap were great..

I met the Copenhagen "rainbow family" upon arrival in Palm Springs when they arrived for a stay at my home in December of 2014. For return swap I went to their spacious, modern central Copenhage home in July-August of 2015. The location could not have been better, 15 minutes walk/5 minute bus ride to Central Rail/Metro station, 38 minutes by easy Metro/bus transfer from CPH airport to their home. Peter and Christian made a point of meeting up for coffee with me and my friend Armando from Texas; they provided local tips on places to go things to do, local food not to be missed. Copenhagen is a fabulous, walkable city and this home spacious, comfortable, with all modern amenities.

Peter and Christian came to our flat with a friend in late 2015 for a Madonna Concert. In return we could visit them and stay in their large flat in July 2016 while they went to their summer house. We stayed for one week and it was fabulous. The flat is very big and has all the modern amenities. It is beautifully furnished. It is in a very hip neighbourhood of Copenhagen and you are close to all sorts of coffee places, restaurants and unique stores. We swam twice in the nearby river with the other Danes every day as it was quite hot. We truly enjoyed our experience and it was nice that we could meet Peter and Christian on the last day of the swap to eat cake, drink coffee and exchange stories. They were very helpful with everything.

Thanks Peter & Christian for letting us stay in your beautiful home for a week this summer.
Everything was very simple to organise with you and your home is absolutely charming. Also is Peter that we had a chance to meet briefly.
The flat's location is great but sometimes the living room has so nice lights thanks to all the windows that we would stay home instead of going out ;)
We are waiting for your visit next eastern (or earlier if you have an opportunity).
