Center of Amsterdam, Amstelveld, Amsterdam, Netherlands

What we have to offer you is a recently remodeled luxurious top duplex of about 1400 sq. foot/140 sq. meters. It is located on a romantic square in the center of town. Although our building originated in 1890, it is recently renovated and has all the modern amenities that make life comfortable. On our first floor, which is the third floor of the building, you'll find a living room, diningroom, study (with computer) kitchen and half bathroom. The stairs to the second floor will take you to two bedrooms with each their own bathroom, a second study and a laundry area. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. The other bedroom has an en suite bathroom with toilet and shower. The cosy living room and study have a view over the gardens of the canal houses that are on the Keizersgracht canal, the lightfilled diningroom faces the Amstelveld and the Prinsengracht canal. One of the bedrooms offers access to the roof terrace. This bedroom also has a kitchenette with coffee maker, oven and fridge, just to keep your drinks cool if you are on the balcony. Besides walking or using our two bikes, there are several public transport lines within walking distance to take you to other parts of the city or to several trainstations to explore other parts of our country. It's a great place to experience Amsterdam living; to relax and be inspired at the same time.
Amsterdam is an easy going city, known for it's museums, music, ballet and opera performances, as well as architecture and canals. Although it offers everything a big city has to offer, it has a pleasant, small city feel to it. Everything is in walking distance and if you're in a hurry, you take your bike. Our home is within walking distance of the major museums, restaurants, shops, cafe's and markets. If you want to go out of town, the coast is a 27 minute trainride away, with beaches, restaurants and walks in the dunes or woods to choose from. Also cities like Delft, The Hague and Rotterdam are within easy reach by train for daytrips. And when you are back, with 176 nationalities living in Amsterdam, there are many international restaurants to pick for a great meal. When in Amsterdam be sure to do as the Amsterdammers, buy yourself some flowers and have a coffee, or something stronger, at one of the many terraces in the city and watch the world go by. Should you not get enough of it, go to a cafe at night to have a local beer called Heineken or someting else you prefer. All in all, Amsterdam is a great city to explore with all your senses.
We love city living and want to experience it all around the world. To just stroll around, have a drink, meet people, explore a neighborhood is what we enjoy doing when on vacation. We especially like to get on a bicycle and get to know a city and its surroundings by cruising around.
