Our 2,600 square feet home is situated in one of the loveliest Seattle, WA neighborhoods -- Queen Anne. Recently remodeled to have more garden access, our home offers a cozy, bright living room with a Morso fireplace; a dining room made spacious by French doors opening to the garden with a hot tub and barbeque; a well proportioned and equipped kitchen; and a pleasant, garden-y master bedroom. All modern appliances and two large, flat-screened TVs, with cable, are included. The style of the home might be called NW casual. Eat from the garden in season. Cozy up in the living room with a fire in winter time.

Queen Anne is a five minute car ride to downtown Seattle. It's a fantastic place for walking or biking around the neighborhood, or to the sites close by -- the Ballard Locks and gardens; lakes and the zoo. Excellent restaurants and coffee shops abound. We are on major bus lines, but if walking is your deal, this is your neighborhood. Farmers' Markets, proximity to water (the lakes and Elliott Bay); wonderful summer weather; easy jaunts to Big Nature just a car ride away make Seattle a vacation destination, summer or fall, and Queen Anne the perfect home base. Car is included in our exchange.
