My apartment is located at the Carnide district on the 3rd floor of a 1980's builiding, which was awarded the Portuguese Architecture Prize Valmor. The building has a pleasant entrance with flower beds. The 90 square metres apartment is decorated on an updated classical style. There are 2 double bedrooms, 1 bureau, 2 bathrooms, 1 living-room and 1 modern kitchen. The floor and doors of the apartment are made of oak. The big windows make the apartment a very lighty one. I took the pictures of my apartment at night and day so as you can see the difference in terms of light environment. There is TV cable channel service available in all rooms as well as internet connection.

My apartment is located between the 2 subway stations of Carnide and Colégio Militar on the blue line. Subway is the best way to travel around Lisbon (you can easily reach the city centre by subway in 15 minutes) and Colégio Militar station is the most convenient one to reach my place. This station is linked to a very big mall (including a wide range of restaurants, cloth shops, a supermarket, cinema theaters, gym and many other sort of stores), which is really very close of my apartment (take a look at the photo showing the view of the mall from my living-room window). I'll be also available to give you the clues and suggestions for your Lisbon sightseeings.

I live on my own, work in Finance/Management/Insurance and am starting up my own business in order to boost some more enthusiasm to my professional life. On the other hand, during my spare time I enjoy traveling throughout the world and make new friends through my trips. Besides, I like going to museums, exhibitions, musicals, cinema, theatre, friends, family and staying at my cosy and comfortable apartment. I hope to make good friends through this website as I find it a very interesting idea. In my opinion, HomeAroundTheWorld is an excellent way to travel as it is not only cheaper but also the best way to get involved in the culture of the country one is visiting as one can meet local people. It might be a learning experience which makes the 5 star hotel a much more boring option.
