An architecturally inspired apartment complex in the heart of historic Paddington. Two bedrooms with built-ins and with the master containing a fully glazed ensuite. Second bedroom has a bi-fold door opening out onto courtyard.
Open plan kitchen/dining/living areas and continuous floor planes link the inside with the front courtyard (there are two). The apartment is a cross over design, locating the living areas on the northern side for sun and views and the bedrooms on the south. Wireless internet (please bring your own computer), security and entertainment system.
Walk outside to a generous connecting walkway (residents only) & into a newly opened historic park - Paddington Reservoir Gardens.
Our apartment is in a perfect location. Right between the gay hub of Surry Hills and the iconic beaches of Bondi & Bronte.
The apartment has an exit onto trendy Oxford Street (shops galore), world famous gay bars/clubs and top local restaurants.
From the street it is easy to hail a taxi or catch a bus to get around. Buses leave every 5min and walking to the city centre is only 15min. Parks, beaches, museums, art galleries, theatre... are all at your doorstep.
My partner, Mark, and I are really interested to meet other gay (or gay friendly) couples or singles who can be good local experts, giving us an insiders tip on the top things to do, places to go etc...
We are interested in locations such as Whistler (Canada), New York, Amsterdam, Florence, Mykonos, Ubud (Bali) but always open to suggestions!
Both of us work in Cultural Organisations and have a love of food/wine, theatre, museums, skiing, bars and traveling.
We are mainly interested in hospitality exchange.
