The apartment in the heart of Rome is at the ground floor of an beautiful building of 1935 on a calm street between the Colosseum and St. John Cathedral (San Giovanni). The apartment is at the base of a 5 stories building and has a separate entrance, you actually enter our beautiful garden. The apartment itself has a large lounge with dining area and an open-plan kitchen. There are two double bedrooms, with a bathroom each, one with the shower, the other with double shower and jacuzzi. The apartment has an area of 80 square meters. The kitchen is fully equipped and contains a washing machine. The apartment is nicely furnished and has a TV with satellite, and a large selection of movies in a variety of languages. Each room overlooks the garden where you can dine from may till october . What is really nice and rare to find about this apartment is that it is centrally located, well connected to tourist and gay attractions, but quiet and relaxing.
The apartment is wonderfully located in the heart of Rome in the Rione Monti in the quiet via di sant'erasmo. It is a 5 minute walk to the Colosseum and the archaeological area. We are also near to to Via Appia shops and and also to the fashion district of via del Corso. Within minutes of the apartment there is a vast selection of restaurants and shops and several supermarket . Near the Colosseum, there is the famous "gay street" of Rome, where there are several bars and crowd hang out on the street mixing different cultures and age groups.
We are two Italian gay guys in a long term relationship . Marco is a filmaker, often traveling for his work , Giampietro is industrial designer, interior architect, set designer. Of course we both enjoy the arts, especially movies, theatre, ballet, museums exhibitions etc.; and love travelling. We like to see our friends, but do occasionally go to a bar or club. We enjoy meeting people, do a lot of entertaining at home and appreciate good food and wine! We are looking to exchange the apartment for a house/apartment for two weeks in these locations: California, the Far East and Southern Europe

I had such an amazing experience. This was my first apartment swap and these two guys were simply brilliant and kind and took care of me while I was in Rome.
They took equally great care of my apartment in Los Angeles and will gladly do it again!
It was a last minute swap for a week in LA for a week in Rome and we met after the fact as our paths crossed in Rome the night before I came back to the States.
We exchanged several emails and several phone calls and all was set up ahead of time and had a friend of mine let them into the apartment and get them set up.
I would do it again in a heartbeat.
