Our apartment is walking distance from the centre of Sydney and located in the main gay locale (Oxford St) but the unit itself is quiet with residential district views. The apartment is modern (very white!) with 2 bedrooms, 2 mirrored bathrooms (one ensuite), long balcony, leather lounge, wifi, and all mod-cons. The complex has a pool, sauna and underground parking, and is a security building.
Oxford St is the main gay area in Sydney. Well known gay spots on the street include The Midnight Shift, The Oxford bear central, Stonewall, and Arq nightclub nearby. Public transport is outside the door, and the CBD is just 250m away across Hyde Park. Darlinghurst has 100+ dining venues.
We are are a gay couple looking to swap for medium-to-longer term stays.... English originally, we love to visit London, and also have fond memories of Buenos Aires, and dreams of New York. We are 30-40s, professional and like to party (but not too much). New to house-swapping but very well travelled, and keen to do more!
Open to suggestions but primarily looking for a medium-to-long term swap in UK/Europe starting from April/May 2010. Ideally would suit gay couple seeking to live in Australia for up to 1 year+, we are seeking the same in London or maybe elsewhere.
