A modern, minimalist one-bedroom in a lakefront high rise. The condo is on the 9th floor of a midcentury building, flooded in natural light and featuring stunning sunset views in the evening. It's about 50 square meters with air conditioning throughout. The building also has a private roof deck with spectacular lake and skyline views, ideal for parties, picnics, sunbathing, or romantic evenings. Other building amenities include a large laundry room, doorman security, and a fitness center on the 2nd floor.

This condo's location can't be beat. Walk out the front door and you're on Chicago's lakefront! Bicycling, jogging, beaches, parks, and sailing are all a few steps away. Located in the heart of East Lakeview, Chicago's vibrant gay neighborhood (also known as Boystown). Endless amounts of cafes, restaurants, shops, bars, and nightclubs are all in the immediate vicinity. If you're into baseball, the Chicago Cubs' Wrigley Field is also a few minutes' walk away. This neighborhood has it all!

Public transportation is everywhere: express buses run outside the building's front door and whisk you to world class downtown shopping, theater, and museums in 10 minutes. Chicago's rail lines are also within walking distance.

I'm a single male who's lived in Chicago for the past 8 years. I love modern art, architecture, music, dancing, yoga, wine, and traveling. During the school year I teach science, and during the summers I like to travel. I'm looking for a summer 2011 exchange (June-August). I'd prefer a central neighborhood in Seattle, London, or San Francisco, but I'm open to other possibilities.
