My apartment in the heart of Amsterdam is on a beautiful canal (see http://www.panoramsterdam.com/panos/binnenkant.html). It is a 17th century building, 2 bedroom apt on the 3rd and 4th floor (no elevator!).
It is about 80m2 and has 2 small terraces (on the south, very sunny all day).

The neighbourhood is the so called Nieuwmarkt and is close to 'everything'. The street itself is very quiet and peaceful with great views from the apt.
but walk 1 minute and you will be in the busy nieuwmarkt square with shops, restaurants, lots of terasses, (gay) bars. And behind the square the redlight district.
Also very close to the subway and the central train station, musea and only 30 minutes to the beach (by train).

I am an experienced swapper (for about 25 years now). I am 52, creative profession and love New York. Visit the city each year 2 to 3 times. Had many many great swaps. Like to explore all the different neighbourhoods from New York. First preference to stay is in Manhattan.
So my priority is New York swapping. But also interested in short swaps with other (European) cities.
