I have what was one of the third grade rooms converted to a loft in the early 90's. 14' ceilings and five big windows that face west to let in wonderful afternoon light. I have removed the bedroom wall to add to the space's open feel and to achieve better natural light and took out the old stucco closet and replaced it with a nice wardrobe. It comes with large screen tv, basic cable, internet, and free heat in the winter. More Photo's to come soon!
Centrally located in an old neighborhood in Denver with lots of shopping, restaurants and sights to see with in easy walking, cycle distance. 2 blocks to a Denver BCycle station and you can ride anywhere in the inner city! Fantastic program and I take one to the local market to fill two bags of groceries and ride home. You're an hour and a half to Summit County for the ski crowd and the front range is a short drive away with Boulder 30 minutes up the road to make a day of hiking, food and sights on the Pearl St. Mall. 17th St Dining is seven blocks away and has it all. Cherry Creek Shopping is a 15 minute walk or five minutes on the BCycle.
I work in film so my life has to be a little flexible. I like the travel opportunities it affords me when a job comes to an end. I am open to both one to two week exchanges or longer ones from one to two months or more depending on the circumstances. I travel often for work and am gone for long periods so I'm open to non-linear type exchanges as well. My place is dog friendly and I'm looking for the same as I like to take my pup along with me on my journey. She followed me home from China while I was there on a job and just likes to be where I am. Often in LA for work so if any of you writer types want to do a few months exchange for a change of scenery then let's talk!

We exchanged with Dan for a long weekend, and sure liked it!
His home is located within walking distance of a number of buses, so you don't really need to drive. It's also close to Trader Joes for groceries.
We walked up to Hollywood Blvd, and took in the sights, and then caught a subway to downtown LA. You can also catch a bus toward Hollywood if you don't feel like walking.
We walked to the La Brea tar pits, and walked hear some live music. There are some legendary places in the area like Whisky a Go Go. We wanted to catch a bus to Santa Monica, but didn't quite make it.
It was great waking up to clear skies in February--especially knowing that it was chilly and rainy in Portland.
Dan's home is comfortable with a great kitchen and bathroom. We loved the architecture, and googled on Edward Fickett to learn more about him. We didn't use the pool, but it looked enticing.
Dan's place was clean when we arrived, and we couldn't tell that Dan had stayed at our place--he left it very clean.
We'd definitely exchange again.
