This nice and cosy apartment is in the heart of Amsterdam in the popular district called Jordaan and is almost next to the Marnixbad (a big indoor swimming pool ans fitness centre), 5 minutes walking distance from Anne Frank House, the canals and many trendy shops and 10 minutes walking distance from Central Station and Dam Square. The apartment is on the second floor and is in the middle of two very picturesque ‘hofjes’ (garden courtyards).
The building has a nice entrance and a modern staircase. The apartment is very open plan and has a large lounge/living room with a ‘French balcony’, a separate dining room that is used as a study/library and a kitchen. There is a fairly sized double bedroom and a shower bathroom. The apartment has an area of 65 square meters. The apartment is nicely furnished and has high speed internet connection, a flat screen TV with cable to receive CNN, BBC, TV5 and ARD/ZDF. This apartment truly combines both of best worlds: located in the heart of the city but very peaceful and quiet.
I am a Dutch male of 43, born and raised in Amsterdam and I live with my sweet cat Thijsje. She can stay with friends if necessary by the way. I work as head of marketing and communications in one of the best and most treasured museums in the city. I am looking to see if I could develop nice exchanges around the world, especially in North America and the south of Europe.
