The apartment in the east of Paris is on the sixth floor (no elevator!) of an 20th early century building on a street between parc de Vincennes/lac daumesnil and Place Nation (close to Bercy village also). The classical building with bricks has a very parisian and a main staircase which are well maintained. The apartment has a bright living room. There is double bedroom and two single bedroomsThe flooring apartment has an area of 84 square meters. The kitchen contains a washing machine (clothes). The apartment is nicely furnished (a nice stove) and has a TV with cable to receive 20 french chanels...internet, of course. The quiet bedrooms overlook the cour (courtyard), the dining area overlook the street. A big bath room (clean) as to be renew.
The apartment is located in the east of Paris in the 12th Arrondesment. It is a 5 minute walk to Parc de Vincennes. There is a super market in front of the lane!
On the main close avenue (at 50 meters!) there are a bakeries,restaurants, a huge market (food) on tuesday and friday (place dausmenil). The apartment is well served with one very Metro station (Michel Bizot, line 8) that you reach in 30 seconds. You can be in The Marais, which is the gay centre of Paris, is a 15 minutes by subway.
One of the four main train station (gare de Lyon) is at ten minutes by bus.
We have good friends in this building, especially a straight couple and their two children (our neighbours on the same floor). The 6th floor (the last) is full of plants shared with them! our caretaker is very professional and friendly.
We are looking to exchange the Paris apartment for an apartment for one week in europeen locations, or for a week end.
we removed for a bigger flat on the same stair. we need to put thing in order. A refreshing decoration is needed. New pictures shown in few days
