Condo atop Telegraph Hill, Coit Tower & City views
Nearest gay scene is Castro & Mission - 3 miles.
North Beach, San Francisco, California, USA
Condo sleeps 4, 1 bedroom, 2 bathrooms
No wonder North Beach in SF was awarded one of the most desirable neighborhoods in the US! We live at the top of Telegraph Hill, right across the street from Coit Tower in a beautiful Gardner Daily designed home, with two condos. There is one bedroom and one art studio/office, which could have an airbed. Both rooms have full small bathrooms. This designer, immaculate home is beautifully furnished and filled with art. The living room has a baby grand piano and is right across the street from Coit Tower, with view of Treasure Island and the Golden Gate Bridge. The stereo in the living room plays throughout the house and there is an extensive collection of jazz cds. There is a working fireplace. The dining room has modern furniture, complete with everything you would need. The kitchen, with Sub Zero refrigerator, has been remodeled and recently redecorated. The master bedroom is beautifully decorated and is complete with books, TV and a very comfortable feather-top king bed, as well as floor to ceiling windows with views of the City and the Bay Bridge. Public transportation can take you anywhere or walk down the hill to vibrant North Beach. No pets or smoking please.
Carol is a jazz singer and mask maker/artist and Art is a senior editor at the National Writing Project at UC Berkeley. We are experienced house exchangers and would like the same. Please, only luxury homes of the like, please reply. We are interested in being in the heart of any big city in the world or at a fantastic beach.
Weekly housecleaning supplied.
We are within a few blocks from North Beach, where some of the best restaurants are to be found. Public transportation in San Francisco is terrific and because the City is compact and a bus can take you anywhere. It is also walking distance to Union Square (a long walk), which is the heart of the City and where the theater and major hotels are. Cab rides are reasonable because of the size of the City, as well. We are close to Fisherman's Wharf, AT&T Baseball park & the Golden Gate Bridge.Bikes are rentable right down the hill. The wine country is a1 hour car ride. Lake Tahoe is 3-4 hour drive for gambling. Ocean beaches available in SF (cold). Be sure to bring a jacket, as the weather can be unpredictable.
We have a very clean, designer home. The front of the house is all glass and looks onto Pioneer Park, with Coit Tower and East Bay. The back of the house has a covered deck with views of Russian Hill, the City and the Bay Bridge. Big ships and sailboats are active from the view. The home is filled with my masks, my husband's photography, my water colors and other great art. We are looking for a like exchange and someone who will take care of our home, with the same respect we will take care of theirs.
