My 17 year old son and I live in a nice, no-frills 2-bedroom apartment at the corner of W 109 and Amsterdam Avenue. AC, kitchen, dining room, living room, a comfortable book- and art-filled NYC apartment.

The apartment's in a great neighborhood that's totally without attitude or pretension, friendly and safe. Within blocks are Columbia University, St John Cathedral, bookstores, groceries, parks, bars, restaurants. There's a gay bar IN OUR BUILDING! Corner of W 109 and Amsterdam, called Suite.

I'm a gay man with a gay adopted teenage son. We live with a dog, cat, and two turtles (the dog could be boarded, but the cat and turtles come with the apartment). We're looking for fun places to spend time away from NYC.
