Beautiful two bedroom apartment in a 1920's Spanish Building one block off of Sunset in the lovely walking neighborhood of Sunset Junction/Silverlake. The master bedroom has a queen bed and sleeps two comfortably, and the couch in the living room doubles as a (very comfortable) twin bed. The second bedroom is currently set up as an office, but could easily be adapted to sleep two more people if necessary (there is even an air mattress available). Large living and dining rooms, eat-in kitchen, beautiful patio overlooking a floral garden. The unit faces away from Sunset Blvd, so despite being MINUTES from coffee shops, restaurants, bars (gay and otherwise), and shopping, the apartment is very quiet.
Shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, gay bars, straight bars, mixed bars, galleries, museums, gyms, movie theatres... all of Los Angeles is convenient from this neighborhood. You never have to drive if you don't want to, but the apartment is minutes from the highways so you can get anywhere in the city quickly (as long as you're not traveling during rush hour). I love the vibrant, eclectic energy of SIlverlake - it's like the East side of Los Angeles' answer to Venice Beach. It's funky, fun, safe, thriving - and it's without a doubt the NEW gay neighborhood in LA...
