Fifth floor condo with views of north Quito and west to Pichincha. Secure building with 24 hour guard/doorman. Combination living room/dining room, full kitchen, guest room with queen size bed, internet, and full bathroom.
The condo is located one block from the Eloy Alfaro stop on the Ecovia bus line, six blocks to Carolina Park, and 1/2 mile to Guayasamin Museum and Chapel of Man. Metropolitano Park is an easy hike. We are about 2 miles north of the Mariscal neighborhood -- easy access via the Ecovia. The Ecovia also provides easy access to Old Quito. Our place is especially convenient for those who would like a base in Quito while traveling to the Galapagos and the Amazon.
We are mainly interested in hosting members visiting Quito but also looking for exchange opportunities. We are a quiet, committed couple interested in meeting friends from around the world. Bill will be studying at Teachers' College at Columbia Univeristy June 25 - July 12, 2010 and is looking for a homestay in New York.
