Our Regency town house (built 1820) is just off the sea front with sea views from the windows and balcony.
We have fully restored this grade 2 listed property and it retains all its original features such as historic ornate cornices, original Regency doors and gorgeous deep skirtings. Coupled with contemporary finishes such as a marble kitchen with integrated appliances/coffee machine etc and 2 gorgeous marble bathrooms it really is a blend of modern living and period features.
The house has a master suite of bathroom, super king bed and ensuite w/c on the top floor with direct sea views from the south facing window opposite the bed.
The second floor has two guest bedrooms (super king and king) and its own bathroom. For short term exchanges with one or two couples we would offer the use of the whole house excluding our top floor bedroom and dressing room. For large groups or longer term swaps we can discuss the option of additional use of the top floor.
The first floor has a living room with french doors opening on to the balcony and the ground floor has the kitchen, dining room and laundry room with a door on to a small deck at the rear.
We have a self contained flat on the lower ground floor that is currently on a long let.
Brighton is a Coastal city only 55 minutes by train from central London. It’s an ideal base to explore the beautiful coastal and inland county of Sussex.
We are situated in Kemp Town area of Brighton, which is known for its grand architecture, independent shops, restaurants and cafes, antique and flea markets and of course its famous gay nightlife. Two of the best restaurants in Brighton are at the top of our street!
We are a ten minute walk along the sea front to the main gay clubs and on to the main shopping areas. “The Laines” shopping areas are famous for historic roads and lanes full of jewelry, vintage and clothing boutiques and all the high street stores can be found in the city centre.
The train station is about a 20 minute walk away but taxis are plentiful and about a 10 minute drive. There is residents permit parking in our neighborhood.
Miles of pebble beaches are just over the road and the nudist beach is about 5 minutes walk away.
