The main living/dining area is on the first floor with a separate kitchen and cloakroom. There is a large master bedroom with en suite shower room on the second floor and a separate double guestroom and bathroom. A large loft room on the third floor is sometimes not available when I have a lodger.
The house is located in a historic part of Brighton close to the grand Regency and Victorian villas of the seafront and Sussex Square. The large Brighton marina with restaurants, multiplex cinema and large Asda supermarket is about a 10 minutes walk, as is the naturist section of the city’s long pebble beach. The gay village with a collection of about 20 bars and clubs is about 20 minutes walk to the west. There are frequent bus services to the city centre and to Brighton railway station including night buses. Frequent trains to London Victoria Station (+/- 1hr) and London St Pancras Station (1.5hrs) and to London Gatwick Airport (40mins). Last Victoria train leaves London at 1am (starting again at 4am) . Brighton has excellent shopping, historic buildings including the famous Royal Pavilion and a very wide selection of restaurants. The South Downs National Park wraps around the city to the north and is accessible by bus, train, car or just walking.
