The Legal Stuff:
Using the Home Around the World website is conditional upon your acceptance of these conditions without modification. Please read them carefully.
By completing the registration forms and accepting the terms and conditions in this Agreement you verify that you understand and approve them. If you do not wish to accept any part of them, you must not use our website.
- I will take good care of any accommodation entrusted to me by any person introduced to me through Home Around the World.
- I agree that all listing information is only for my personal use as a member and will not be used in connection with any business activities. I will not copy or disclose such information to anyone else.
- I consent to my listing appearing online, even though it will be available to members who may be in countries where there is not adequate legal protection against the misuse of personal data and may use it for purposes outside their membership, though to do so will breach their membership terms.
- I agree that any information or material I supply will not be illegal, pornographic, misrepresent anything in my listing nor defamatory or in breach of the intellectual property rights of any third party.
- I acknowledge the right of Home Around the World to editorial discretion over any submission to ensure that all content is in line with the aims of the site and acknowledge that Home Around the World cannot accept responsibility for the accuracy of any listings or the actions of any members.
- I acknowledge the right of Home Around the World to cancel membership for breach of any of these terms without refund of my membership fee but if my membership is cancelled without reasonable cause then I am entitled to a refund pro rata for the unexpired period of membership.
- Upon receipt of membership and consequent access to membership database no refunds can be allowed.
- Home Around the World reserves the right to refuse any listing for any reason whatsoever. If this occurs, the membership fee will be refunded ASAP. All other refunds, pro-rata refunds, reimbursements and credits are at the sole discretion of Home Around the World.
- Home Around the World may remove any listing that advertises more than the approved number of units or properties or that has links to other lodging websites without prior approval. A listing that promotes more than one property confuses the programming and therefore will not appear in search results. If in doubt, Contact us with any questions and requests. Please include a phone number if you would like a phone call to discuss your particular situation.
- Members may list more than one property and have a variety of discount options available for additional listings. Please consult the fee information on the site, or Contact us with your request.
- Members can temporarily deactivate their Home Around the World listing and reactivate it at a future date. The membership stays in force throughout the original term and the renewal date will not be extended during the time the listing is deactivated.
- We respect members’ privacy. Home Around the World does not sell or trade email addresses or personal information. Read our Privacy Policy.
- Home Around the World does not participate in or tolerate the sending of unsolicited commercial email SPAM. Use of Home Around the World Contact Forms is restricted to legitimate enquiries only, as defined by the purpose of the website, which is to arrange home stays.
Solicitation of members for commercial purposes via information provided by Home Around the World is expressly forbidden. Home Around the World is the sole judge in determining what constitutes SPAM.
- All content, including photographs on the Home Around the World website is copyrighted and may not be used, copied, downloaded, etc. without written permission.
- Home Around the World reserves the right to change, modify, remove, or add to these terms and policies at will without prior notification.
- I agree to indemnify Home Around the World against all costs, claims and liabilities arising from any breach of these terms.
- I acknowledge that Home Around the World cannot become involved in disputes between members and that these terms are governed by English law and subject to the sole jurisdiction of English Courts of Law.
